Join us for Bird Walks on the 4th Saturday of every month at 9 am at the Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center-River Campus. This also includes a ‘big sit’ for those who can’t or don’t want to walk.
We’ll walk along the Arkansas River on a flat paved trail to view and identify a variety of birds. Registration is not required. Suitable for families and birders of all levels.
Bring your binoculars, hat, sunscreen, insect repellant, and water. This program is free of charge. Donations are always appreciated!
Feb. 28, 2026 –31 participants on a windy, but sunny morning; saw 23 species ranging from Red-tailed Hawk to American Goldfinch.
