A field trip to Blanca Wetlands in the San Luis Valley will be scheduled for September from 9:30 am- 2 pm. This is a chance to see this excellent spot for migrating shorebirds. Keep an eye out for the exact date and more details about this trip.
AVAS and Generation Wild (GenWild) will have a table at the Arkansas River Festival at Waterworks Park 6/27 from 10am–5pm.
AVAS provided three (3) summer camp scholarships for kiddos.
AVAS got a grant from National Audubon to train 4 youth bird walk leaders. The teens will be joining us on our summer bird walks.
