A field trip to Blanca Wetlands in the San Luis Valley will be scheduled for Friday September 25, 2026 from 10 am- 2:30 pm. This is a chance to see this excellent spot for migrating shorebirds. Keep an eye out for the exact date and more details about this trip.
AVAS provided three (3) summer camp scholarships for kiddos.
AVAS got a grant from National Audubon to train 4 youth bird walk leaders. The teens will be joining us on our summer bird walks.
AVAS will have a table at Vulture Day September 5, 2026 from 10 am- 1 pm at the Pueblo Raptor Center.
